Varun Dhawan & Janhvi Kapoor Shine in a Predictable Yet Entertaining Romantic Drama
The film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari was directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film was released on October 2, 2025. The stars in this film are Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. The movie also features Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. The film will be released on the OTT platform on November 27, 2025.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari film is two hours and fifteen minutes long. Two couples intend to marry one another’s former partners. Both of them want to get their love back. Now, whether Sunny and Tulsi get their love back or not, or they fall in love with each other, one gets to see in the trailer itself.
A cameo appearance of an actress does not present enough shock value. The topic around which the movie revolves could have been better. One of the viewers wrote on Twitter (X), “SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI is exactly the kind of film that has nothing to say but is bearable for passive viewing on TV in the background while you doomscroll on your phone. One wouldn’t miss a thing if they don’t look at the screen for 2 minutes because nothing significant happens and you must have already seen the same scene in many films. “
The viewer also wrote, “An empty film. I mean, some moments are fun and I didn’t mind the songs at all, but it all feels pointless. Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Dulhania’ films had some life in them but everything about this one feels like it was manufactured to look and feel like a movie we have a hundred times before in literally every aspect. Just… pointless.”
Overall, in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Varun Dhawan excels in both comedic and emotional scenes, while Janhvi Kapoor looks gorgeous and delivers a fine performance. Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf also do a commendable job and Maniesh Paul’s comic timing is terrific.
