It is a story about some murders that are happening in Mumbai, and all of them are related to a serial killer. The police have to catch a serial killer. Some similar killings were committed 25 years ago by a serial killer who is currently in jail. Now, whether the person who is inside the jail has a connection with these murders or not? To know that one has to watch Mrs Deshpande, which is streaming on JioHotstar, which has episodes of 50 minutes length each.

Mrs. Deshpande portrays a character with subtle acting, placid expression, sarcastic smile, and a mute narrative. Madhuri Dixit has proven her calibre in a role of a different kind that screams offbeat, overshadowing her mainstream persona.  She has given a fantastic performance. Her commanding attention from the very first scene captivates the hearts of the audience.

There are many twists in the series. We also get to see the emotional side of Madhuri Dixit’s character. We get to see her trauma and her difficulties. The work of the inspector who is investigating the case is also very good. The investigating officer assigned to work with Mrs. Deshpande in the series Mrs. Deshpande is Inspector Tejas Phadke.The overall operation is overseen by Police Commissioner Arun Khatri (played by Priyanshu Chatterjee).

Overall, Mrs. Deshpande proves that true power doesn’t need to shout. It is a bold and captivating series that showcases Madhuri Dixit in a powerfully unexpected role, a must-watch for thriller lovers.
