
Protests Erupt Against 120 Bahadur: Ahir Samaj Warns of Bigger Movement Ahead
The film 120 Bahadur is starring Farhan Akhtar is set to release on November 21, 2025. The film is directed by Razneesh Ghai. The trailer of the film was released on November 5, 2025. A controversy started before the release of Farhan Akhtar’s film 120 Bahadur. There is an atmosphere of anger among the Ahir community in Haryana and Punjab regarding the film. The protestors have protested fiercely over the title of the film.
Farhan Akhtar has been asked to change the name of the movie and listen to Ahir Samaj. The people have said that this is just a small beginning, and this fight will continue for a long time. People of Ahir Samaj protested by stopping the toll. People of Ahir Samaj said that they will go to Mumbai as well as Delhi.
People of Ahir Samaj want to do Vandalism so that the government listens to them. The protesters alleged that an attempt has been made to hide the stories of their ancestors. They have demanded to change the title of the film. They also warned that if the title was not changed, then the film would not be allowed to be screened.
The people say that the war of 1962 took place between India and China, and in Rezang La, 13 the Kumaon Regiment and 120 Ahirs of Charlie Company, out of which 114 were martyred, and the government of India, making History till date, gave the title of Veer Ahir Regiment to 13 Kumaon Regiment. Three of the Ahirs who participated in the war are still alive.
