Tamil actress and model Samyuktha Shanmuganathan and former Chennai Super Kings cricketer Anirudha Srikkanth got married on Thursday on November 27, 2025, in a traditional style in Chennai. Their wedding pictures and videos are making waves on the internet.
The marriage function was kept private. Only family members and some close relatives were present. Both Samyuktha Shanmuganathan and Anirudha Srikanth have shared photos of their wedding on Instagram. In the caption, Anirudha wrote, “27.11.2025.” He also added a ring and a heart emoji. The wedding took place in a simple and traditional ceremony according to Hindu customs and was attended by close friends and family.
Samyuktha looked stunning in a gold-coloured sari with temple jewellery, while Anirudha wore a gold-shaded shirt and a dhoti. The couple’s relationship came into public knowledge during Diwali when they shared a photo together. This action put an end to circulating rumours regarding their status but also led to increased curiosity about a possible engagement and wedding.
Before their official announcement, Samyuktha had addressed on ongoing speculation with a brief and ambiguous remark saying that everything is on the internet. Anirudha Srikkanth is the son of Krishnamachari Srikkanth, who was earlier married to Aarti Venkatesh. Their marriage lasted for two years, ending in divorce.
Samyuktha’s first marriage was with tech entrepreneur Kartik Shankar. The couple finalized their divorce in early 2025. The actress revealed that the marriage ended because of her husband’s affair.
